PROFIL PENGGUNAAN OBAT ANTIHIPERTENSI PADA PASIEN BPJS DI APOTEK KIMIA FARMA 274 PAMEKASAN PERIODE FEBRUARI- MARET 2022

Abstract

Hypertension is a condition where a person's blood pressure is above the normal or optimal limit, namely 120 mmHg for systolic and 80 mmHg for diastolic. This study aims to determine the profile of the use of antihypertensive drugs in BPJS patients at Kimia Farma 274 Pharmacy Pamekasan. This research is a non-experimental research with the analytical design used is descriptive method. Data obtained from retrospective search. The study was conducted by looking at BPJS prescriptions at Kimia Farma Pharmacy 274 Pamekasan with a total sample of 115 patients using a simple random sampling method. The results of the study on the profile of the use of antihypertensive drugs in BPJS patients at Kimia Farma Pharmacy 274 Pamekasan for the period of February-March 2022 showed that the most patients were women with a total of 69 patients (60%), the highest age diagnosed with hypertension was 41-65 years old, namely with a total of 72 patients (62.6%), the type of drug that is often used is amlodipine 10 mg as many as 76 patients (46.34%) from the Calcium Channel Blocker (CCB) group. The mechanism of action of Calcium Channel Blockers (CCB) is relaxation of the heart and smooth muscle by blocking voltage-sensitive calcium channels, thereby reducing the entry of extracellular calcium into cells. The number of types of antihypertensive drugs that are widely used are single drugs of 70 patients (60.86%), the type of single drug that is often used is amlodipine 10 mg with a total of 39 patients (33.91%).
