Abstract

The postpartum period is the period after the mother gives birth and the reproductive organs will return to their original shape. However, there are cases where the reproductive organs are delayed in returning to their normal shape, which is called sub uterine involution. The final project report is case based with continuity of care starting from pregnancy to contraseptive selection and documented in ditail. Using SOAP management where this care was carried out on Mrs.”A” GIIP1001A000 UK 39 weeks, alive, sigleton, head, intrauterine, general condition of mother and fetus is good. Based on the evaluation result, it can be concluded that mrs”A” did not experience uterine sub involution because the mother had received treatment to prevent uterine sub involution starting from the pregnancy period, the mother was advised to do pregnancy exercises, breast care, personal hygiene, during the birth process of Mrs”A” help using sterile tools during the postpartum period the mother made 2 visit and the mother was advised to do postpartum exercises, mobilization, lactation, maintaining nutritional status and vulva hygiene so that the uterine involution process in Mrs “A” runs more quickly. When taking birth control, the mother chooses to use 3 month injrctable birth control because the mother has her second child and has used injectable birth control 3 months previously.
