The incidence of perineal rupture in the world has reached 2.7 million cases, where this figure is expected to reach 6.3 million in 2020. Mrs "H" pregnancy visit on February 21 2024 with complaints of lower abdominal pain. The assistance given to Mrs "H" was doing yoga movements, correcting sleeping positions that might be wrong, and teaching relaxation techniques, especially when you feel tight, by inhaling and exhaling slowly through your mouth.
The labor process for Mrs "H" was classified as a short labor in the first stage starting on March 5 2024 at 09.00 WIB with CHPB observation results (djh: 142x/minute, his: 2x/10 minutes/25 seconds, VT: 2 cm, temperature : 36.5 C, BP : 110/70 mmHg) as well as a 2nd degree perineal tear and varicose veins in the vagina. The care given to newborns aged 1 hour, 3 days old and 8 days old includes daily baby care, breastfeeding and education about formula milk. The postpartum period is carried out in 2 visits with the first visit at 3 days postpartum and 7 days postpartum. with complaints of stitching pain in the genital area. The care given to Mrs "H" is early mobilization from the bed to the bathroom and compressing with warm water on the pain area. Birth control midwifery care is given to the mother through counseling and evaluation. Mother's care in choosing a 3-month injectable birth control contraceptive.
