Hypertension is widely known as a cardiovascular disease, in developed countries and seventh in developing countries hypertension is also the fourth contributor to premature death. Hypertension therapy aims to prevent morbidity and mortality. Uncontrolled hypertension will trigger complications and worsen the patient's condition. One of the factors that causes uncontrolled hypertension is the patient's non-compliance with treatment, including: the patient only taking part of the medicine, taking the medicine not according to the dosage and instructions for use and the patient stopping using the medicine. The aim of this study was to determine the prescribing pattern for the use of antihypertensive drugs at the Pegantenan Pamekasan Community Health Center. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive methods by collecting data using all outpatient prescription sheets at the Pegantenan Community Health Center, Pamekasan Regency. Sampling used the purposive sampling method. The number of samples in this study was 100 recipes. The aim of this study was to determine the prescribing pattern for the use of antihypertensive drugs at the Pegantenan Pamekasan health center. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive methods by describing the data obtained to describe the pattern of hypertension drug use in outpatients at the Pegantenn health center. The results of this study show that the most common patient characteristics based on gender are women, while the most common patient characteristics based on age suffer from hypertension in the age range experienced by patients aged >50 and over. Meanwhile, 21 (21.0%) of the drugs used at the Pegantenan Community Health Center were amlodipine at a 5mg dose, 68 (68.0%) at a 10mg dose, then 8 (8.0%) 25mg captopril drugs, 8 (8.0%) 40mg furosemide drugs. patients (8.0%), nifedipine in 1 patient (1.0%), the combination of amlodipine with a dose of 5mg and furosemide 40mg in 1 patient (1.0%), the conclusion of this study is that the single most widely used antihypertensive drug is amlodipine and as a combination antihypertensive, namely amlodipine and furosemide.
