TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN MASYARAKAT TERHADAP ANTIBIOTIK DI DESA TANJUNG KECAMATAN PEGANTENAN KABUPATEN PAMEKASAN

Abstract

are a class of strong drugs which are widely used but often occur irrationally, with multidrug resistance Indonesia is ranked 8th compared to other countries. This case occurred in Tanjung Pegantenan because of minimal knowledge about antibiotics. This research aims to determine the level of community knowledge about antibiotics in Tanjung Village, Pegantenan District, Pamekasan Regency. This type of research is descriptive with sample data collection using a questionnaire. The results of this research found that the majority of respondents were aged 18-40 with a percentage of 60% with the most education being high school graduates with the most jobs as farmers. Most respondents were male. Based Antibiotics on the results of data processing, the community in Tanjung Pagentenan Village has a level of knowledge based on indicators of general knowledge about antibiotics which is classified as poor, based on indicators How to use, time and length of use of antibiotics is classified as sufficient, based on indicators How to obtain antibiotics is classified as sufficient. The level of knowledge of the people of Tanjung Village, Pengantenan District, based on indicators of side effects from drug use, is classified as poor. So it can be concluded that the level of knowledge of the community in Tanjung Pagentenan village regarding antibiotics is classified as poor with only 54.18% of respondents answering correctly in the questionnaire results.
