TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN PENGGUNAAN ANTIBIOTIK PADA MASYARAKAT DI DAERAH BATU MARMAR KABUPATEN PAMEKASAN

Abstract

Today's society, when dealing with allergies and other diseases, uses antibiotics excessively without using a doctor's recommendation and consumes them not in accordance with the doctor's recommendations. One of them is Batu Marmar Village, Pamekasan Regency, although they can afford treatment from a doctor, due to the influence of the surrounding environment they buy medicine without a prescription so they don't understand how to use and store it. The aim of the research was to determine the level of knowledge of antibiotic use behavior in the Batu Marmar community of Pamekasan Regency. The sample used in this research was the entire Batumarmar community, Pamekasan District, who used antibiotics. This research method is descriptive. Data collection using the data collection technique used in the research is by dividing questionnaires. The results of research on the knowledge of the people of Kapong Lesong Daya Hamlet based on indicators of general knowledge about antibiotics are classified as low at 5.85%, based on indicators How to use, time and length of use of antibiotics are classified as low at 26.24%, based on indicators How to obtain antibiotics are classified as poor at a value of 2.85%, based on indicators of side effects from drug use it is classified as less at a value of 9.45%. So it can be concluded that the level of knowledge of the marble stone community is lacking.
