Abstract

Chronic energy deficiency (KEK) is a condition in which a person experiences nutritional deficiencies (kalaori or protein) that last a long time or chronic. Kek mother is a mother who has an upper arm circumference (LILA) size of < 23.5 cm. The purpose of the study in general is that students are able to apply or provide obstetric care to pregnant women who experience chronic energy deficiency (KEK) in continuity of care.

Mrs. "Z" GIII P2002 A000 shows that the mother has a chronic energy deficiency (KEK) this is known by taking measurements on the upper arm circumference (LILA) which is worth 22 cm, and calculating the value of body mass index (BMI) which is worth 23 kg.

The results of the study conducted in PMB Flamboyan Village Ceguk District Tlanakan Pamekasan namely Ny "Z" GIII P2002 A000 with chronic energy power (KEK). Advice:(1) Tell the mother about the nutrition of pregnant women and how to process food. (2) Encourage pregnant women to meet nutritional needs by consuming nutritious foods, which contain calories, protein and iron. (3) Inform the mother about the effect of KEK on pregnancy. (4) Encourage the mother to rest and reduce strenuous activity. (5) Encourage pregnant women to make repeated visits and check their pregnancy regularly to find out the state and development of the pregnancy.
