Abstract

who have just come from the womb of a mother who needs adaptation to be able to interact outside the womb adaptation process Easy babies There are some newborns who cannot adapt to their environment and this causes some problems in the baby such as physiological jaundice.

The care was carried out on Mrs "S" aged 30 years GII PI00I A000 35 weeks of gestation, at the first visit of the third trimester of pregnancy, comprehensive care was carried out through data collection to evaluation and documentation using management soap. During the pregnancy visit, Mrs. "S" found several problems, including placing the mother's milk in her lap which can affect the baby's nutrition when it is born. During the visit, monitoring was carried out starting from the first stage to the fourth stage with APN 60 steps, at KALA I carried out an assessment and found that the gestational age was less than 37 weeks / not enough months, Mrs "S" gave birth spontaneously on April 7, 2021 at 16.30 WIB at PMB kasih mother, delivery care took place with a tear in the birth canal and the baby was born prematurely. At the first and second visits, the newborn and the puerperium were found to have a problem and a danger sign that leads to complications, namely the baby has jaundice. Then it was continued on the KB visit Mrs. "S" which focused on counseling and informing consent in the selection of contraceptives to be used and the mother chose to use 3-month contraceptive injections.

The results showed that continuous midwifery care based on Continuity Of Care for Mrs "S" with the results of the mother and fetus being good but the mother's pregnancy was in the preterm/premature category and also the baby had jaundice caused by nutritional deficiencies due to placing the mother's milk on the side, so that Mothers are advised to raise awareness and take care during pregnancy and to give exclusive breastfeeding to their babies and to breastfeed as often as possible.
